In this clip, Vlad continued to speak about Manhattan Beach being given back to the descendants of the original Black owners, who sold it back to the city. This led to people saying that they sold out, and D.L. pointed out that it was being used as a lifeguard station at the time because all of the benefits were used up. From there, D.L. spoke about other similar incidents in U.S. history, and he went on to speak about reparations. Hughley stated that he thinks descendants should be given “fair market value of what has been stolen from them,” and he reacted to Vlad asking if he thinks reparations are “far off.” D.L. explained that he thought gay marriage, the legalization of weed, and college athletes getting paid were also “far off.”
