Hall of Fame bound quarterback Aaron Rodgers will follow in the footsteps of his predecessor and join the New York Jets after playing over a decade in Green Bay for the Packers in a move that has him following the Brett Favre career model.

The Jets are swapping their first-round picks from this year's draft, in addition to Green Bay receiving the Jets’ No. 42 and No. 207 picks in 2023, as well as a second-rounder in 2024.

This move was all but a formality as Rodgers addressed the media last month with all indication pointing to him and the Packers finally agreeing to part ways. “My side: love and appreciation and gratitude for everything Green Bay has done for me. So much love and heart open for the Packers fans and what it meant to be their quarterback,” he said, per USA Today. “And also the reality of the situation: it is what it is; the Packers would like to move on. They’ve let me know that in so many words. They’ve let other people know that in direct words.”
