Tory Lanez has been looking to free himself from the current situation he’s facing, with sentencing being delayed following being convicted of shooting Texas rap star Megan Thee Stallion. From there, a judge pushed a ruling for Lanez’s motion for a new trial back to May 8, 2023. Now, a new lawyer for Lanez has taken to Instagram to reveal news about the status of the rapper and the fight his firm is looking to continue with.
Via Instagram, the law firm for Jose Baez posted a photo of the lawyer, along with a message saying “We are happy to announce that Tory Lanez will be releasing information about the DNA in his case that gave false and misleading information to his jury.” The lawyer continued saying “#FreeToryLanez.”
Previously, Lanez wrote a letter to the Los Angeles District Attorney, noting he feels he was wrongfully convicted of a crime he didn’t commit.
