A man has been charged with posing as an officer after authorities in the Bernalillo County Sheriff's Department found him in full uniform in a dating app profile.

According to the Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office, Rico TreShon Dukes went to Volcano Vista High School on April 19 to visit his teachers while in a uniform shirt with a badge and two shoulder patches. Dukes also reportedly had a firearm visible on his hip.

Deputies say Dukes also posed as an officer in several photos on his Tinder profile, including one photo where he was wearing a duty belt with a firearm.

Per ABC local New Mexico affiliate KOAT.com:

During the execution of a search warrant, deputies found an additional handgun holster, two holster attachments, a Velcro "sheriff" patch, a handcuff key, a black long-sleeved Proper polo shirt with holes cut out of both shoulders and left breast in the shape of a badge, two patches and a bag of unfired 9mm projectiles.

Court documents say there were four different times when Dukes posed as a deputy:

April 19 at Volcano Vista High School
April 20, while out at dinner with a woman
April 21 at both American Freight and Rainbow, Gems and Glitter Nails
April 24, when he was arrested by law enforcement
Court records say Rico applied for BCSO on two occasions and was not hired.
