In a terrifying scene, an independent wrester part of the XPW Wrestling promotion set himself on fire in a "deathmatch" when attempting to blow a fireball at his opponent. As a result of the botched stunt, the wrestler who goes by the ring-name MASADA suffered significant burns to the face and body.

The graphic video shows MASADA grab a flaming torch, poured a substance in his mouth and tried blowing the liquid at his opponent before catching on fire himself.

MASADA is engulfed in flames for several moments before finally being extinguished. Interestingly enough, MASADA somehow managed to finish the match before he was taken to a local hospital where he was diagnosed with first- and second-degree burns all over his body.

MASADA told TMZ what went awry with the stunt while in the hospital, "I've done that spot a lot when I wrestled in Japan, but it was rushed and I think being outside had something to do with it."
