Young Thug recently appeared in court with his lawyer Brian Steel, who made a fourth attempt to get bond for the rapper. Steel laid out reasons for the 4th request, calling out the Fulton County Jail for food options that were nowhere near healthy for the rapper.

Steel noted that Young Thug is living off chocolate and potato chips while being locked up, relying on food with “zero health benefits,” according to 11Alive. Along with that, Steel said Thug has had limited access to sunlight and fresh air since May 2022, with exercise being limited due to the small cell size.

The rapper’s lawyer says his client has been “sleep-deprived” due to only getting five hours of sleep per night. According to 11Alive, Young Thug has to wake up between 3 and 4 in the morning, with Steel saying, “By the end of the week, Mr. Williams is fighting to pay attention to the goings on in his case.” Stay tuned for more updates.
