On Wednesday morning, Jackson Mahomes, the younger brother of Super Bowl LVII MVP Patrick Mahomes, was booked at the Johnson County Jail and charged with aggravated sexual battery. The arrest stems from an incident at Aspens Restaurant and Lounge in Overland Park, Kansas City, during February when the 22-year-old TikTok star forcibly grabbed Aspen Vaugh, the proprietor of the business space, by the neck before kissing her without permission, twice. The assault left Aspen with a bruise on her neck and Jackson with yet another controversial occurrence on his record. According to Jackson's defense attorney, Brandan Joseph Davies, there is substantial evidence that supports his client's claim of innocence.
Thus far, the Kansas City Chiefs have not commented on the matter, and neither has their star quarterback, Patrick Mahomes.
