Sixers star James Harden welcomed his teammate Joel Embiid to the prestigious league MVP club after Joel won his first most valuable player trophy and the inaugural Michael Jordan trophy at that. Harden gifted Embiid with a brand new Rolex watch ahead of their Game 2 match up against the Celtics in Boston.
Embiid was more than ecstatic going into Wednesday night's game as he's seen grinning and hugging Harden after receiving his gift. Despite the morale boost, the Sixers were thoroughly handled by the Celtics to notch the series at 1-1 going into Philly for the next two games, one of which Embiid will be formally introduced as the league's MVP.
