Earlier this year, Lil Tjay was arrested while he was on his way to a video shoot for a song with Ice Spice. Police alleged that they found a gun in the vehicle the rapper was in, which caused them to arrest the rapper for gun possession. However, his lawyer Dawn Florio says the gun didn’t belong to the rapper. Since then, it was reported that Tjay turned himself in for a previous case where he was a victim, despite rumors of him turning himself in for a new gun charge.

Via Instagram, Florio said, “This arrest is not a new gun charge. He had to turn himself in for the case where he was a victim where he was shot multiple times. The allegation is that there were guns in the car.” Stay tuned for more updates.
