In 2022, it was reported that rapper Mozzy was turning himself in to start a 1-year prison sentence for a federal gun charge. The sentence was connected to charges stemming from a traffic stop that went down in January 2021.
According to jail records that surfaced from the USP Atwater Prison, the rapper was expected to be released in July 2023, but it appears Mozzy has been released early from his sentence.
Ahead of his prison sentence, it was revealed that Mozzy was signing to Yo Gotti’s CMG label. Stay tuned for more updates.
