Island Boys' Franky Venegas was recently arrested on domestic violence charges after allegedly slapping his girlfriend and pushing her in a pool following a verbal dispute.
Venegas's girlfriend claims the couple began arguing on Saturday at the pool area of their Airbnb in Pompano Beach after she threatened to break up with him for his "physical[ly] abusive behavior."
TMZ notes that Venegas's girlfriend told police he "got upset and slapped her across the face and pushed her into the shallow part of the pool, causing her to hit her chin on the concrete floor below." Authorities confirmed she was left with multiple bruises in several areas on her body following the incident. They subsequently arrested Venegas for domestic battery at the couple's AirBnB.
He's since been released on bond.
