Former Bad Boy artist Dustin Michael of the group B5 has come out as gay.
Dustin took to social media to make the revelation in hopes that his choice to live openly would inspire new modes of accepting the different ways men love and particularly the ways black men can openly express their love, whatever context. He spoke about being sexually ambiguous and how that is normally cast as a bad thing but is hoping his story disrupts those long-held regressive thoughts.
Dustin also revealed that he's in a great place at the moment with his girlfriend, who is a transwoman. He signed off by urging men to live their truths and love who you love, publicly.
