Doja Cat Says Her Last Two Albums Were 'Cash Grabs,' Mocks Fans Who 'Fell for It'

Doja Cat may have rubbed some fans the wrong way with her recent remarks on Twitter. 

The Grammy award winner made the claim that her last two albums were simply "cash grabs." 

“Planet Her and Hot Pink were cash-grabs and yall fell for it,” she tweeted on Tuesday. “Now I can go disappear somewhere and touch grass with my loved ones on an island while yall weep for mediocre pop.” 

She also noted a change in album title for her forthcoming project. “It’s not called hEllMoUth either it’s called First of All,” Doja tweeted. She added, “And yes I’m announcing the album title right now.”  

Following the tweet, fans began chiming in with many criticizing Doja's revelation. “I just know this album is gonna flop because her fans don’t like this type of sound from her,” one Twitter user remarked. Another reacted to the snippet of her latest track stating, "You just lost me with that last song," prompting Doja to respond "Bye Byyyyye."
