Last November, an 11-year-old boy from England named Yusuf Shah was crowned the smartest kid in the world with an astonishing IQ of 162. Less than a year later, another exceptional child prodigy has joined the ranks as one of the most intelligent children in the entire world. Adhara Pérez Sánchez, from Mexico City, recently went viral after news broke that she just earned a Master's Degree in Mathematics from the Technological University of Mexico. Like Yusuf Shan, Adhara also has an IQ of 162, which is higher than legendary physicists Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking. The latter had a significant influence on Adhara during her early childhood, a span when the young genius graduated from high school by the time she was 6-years-old.
Adhara currently works with Agencia Espacial Mexicana (Mexico's National Space Agency), and her dream is to explore planet Mars in the future. Despite being diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome and autism, a developmental disability of the brain, Adhara is projected to become a NASA pilot before she turns 18, provided she continues at her current pace in the study of mathematics, technology, science, and engineering.
One of the first children to reach the same intellectual heights as Ahara was Marilyn Vos Savant, who recorded an IQ of 228 when she was just ten years old back in the mid-1950s. Adhara, a humanitarian for kids her age and younger, has a standing offer to study at the University of Arizona.
