According to reports, the man accused of arranging the Young Dolph murder, Hernandez Govan, has been released on an extremely low bond after being appointed a new attorney, Handel Durham Jr.
Govan made headlines in late April when he appeared before the judge without legal representation following issues which had arisen between himself and his former lawyer William Massey. On Thursday, FOX13 Memphis reporter Jeremy Pierre tweeted: “Hernandez Govan charged with the first-degree murder of Young Dolph,” adding, “He’s also charged with attempted first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit first-degree murder of [the rapper].”
Needless to say, news of Govan receiving bond, let alone such a low number considering the depths of his alleged crime, was met with much pushback.
