It was previously reported that OnlyFans model Christina Ashten Gourkani suddenly died last month under mysterious circumstances. Some news outlets reported that Gourkani died during a surgical procedure, and it has now been revealed that she died while getting illegal butt injections.
According to San Mateo County District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe, Gourkani, 34, died from cardiac arrest related to illegal cosmetic injections. A toxicology test is still pending, which would determine what substance was in the injections.
Wagstaffe revealed to PEOPLE that Vivian Gomez, 50, was arrested on April 20 at the Ft. Lauderdale airport and charged with involuntary manslaughter and practicing medicine without a license.

A popular OnlyFans model named Christina Ashten Gourkani, who gained popularity due to her resemblance to Kim Kardashian, has passed away at just 34.
According to TMZ, sources close to Gourkani say that she died of a heart attack while undergoing a "medical procedure that took a turn for the worse." Some reports have claimed that the model was undergoing plastic surgery when she died, but Gourkani's family stated that they aren't releasing additional details at this time.
Gourkani's family addressed her passing in a post on GoFundMe, where they are asking for money related to funeral costs. They wrote, "It is with deep sorrow and an [immensely] heavy broken heart that we have to share the most shattering, unfortunate and unexpected passing of our beautiful beloved daughter and sister Christina Ashten Gourkani."
They added, "Her sudden and tragic passing is currently being investigated as a homicide related to medical procedure that took a turn for the worse."
