Jermaine Dupri previously made an appearance during Janet Jackson’s ‘Together Again’ tour, along with the likes of Busta Rhymes, Ludacris, and more. However, Dupri’s appearance to support Jackson onstage stirred up many rumors about the pair who were once romantically involved. Since then, Dupri squashed the rumors, with the denial coming via an interview with HipHopDX during the ‘Lovers and Friends’ festival in Las Vegas.
During the interview, JD was asked about a few names and what they had in common. “Imma say some names, you tell me what they all have in common. J Lo and Ben Affleck, Nelly and Ashanti, JD, and Janet,” said the interviewer. Dupri responded by saying, “An Ex?” JD’s response was met with laughter as he seemingly shut down rumors of getting back with Jackson. Watch above.
