Lil Durk has been in headlines recently, as the rapper’s penchant for crafting hits was brought into question by Bootleg Kev. Beyond that, NBA Youngboy dissed Durk and tried to get at India Royale. From there, Durk offered $50 million to box Tekashi 6ix9ine, which was denied by the latter. Now, Durk has spoken about his music, saying J. Cole may have gotten the best of him in their collaboration.
While speaking to Complex Music, the rapper talked about his new single “All My Life” featuring J. Cole. While promoting the single during a release party, Durk addressed the feature.
“He smoked my ass on that one, for one — barely,” said the Chicago rapper. Durk then continued showing Cole love, saying, “That barely happens. But shout out to J. Cole, shout out to [Dr.] Luke, we made it happen.” The single is featured on the rapper’s ‘Almost Healed’ album, which is reportedly dropping on May 26. Watch above.
