In this clip, Vlad started off asking Lance “Un” Rivera about former Bad Boy bodyguard Gene Deal saying that Biggie was about to leave the label after he saw a $62 million contract in Biggie’s luggage. Lance said that at the time, Biggie had proven himself so much that all of the opportunities were open. He then added that Biggie was battling himself on the charts, as both a solo artist and with Junior M.A.F.I.A., which led to Un calling Biggie a “great A&R.”
