According to reports, three suspects from Chicago were arrested for a shooting in January 2023, resulting in the deaths of three women.
The incident happened in a Beverly Crest neighborhood on January 28th. The police noted three victims were shot dead, while six others survived. The three women—Iyana Hutton, Neneh Davis, and Destiny Sims- were killed in a vehicle outside a short-term rental home. Police say the three women rented an Airbnb to follow a Chicago-based rapper. The women were tragically shot in front of the house but were not the intended target.
Since then, the Los Angeles Police Department revealed three men were arrested for to the killings. Police took in 23-year-old Dontae Williams, 28-year-old Dejean Thompkins, and 28-year-old Daries Stanford, and the cops noted the three men committed a fourth murder that took place in North Hollywood in December 2022.
Police noted Thompkins was apprehended in Chicago on April 10 and that Williams was almost arrested in Chicago but made his way to Gary, Indiana, while fleeing. He was arrested and then sent back to Chicago.
Stanford was arrested by police in Manhattan on May 10. The three men are set to be extradited to Los Angeles and will face charges that include assault, attempted murder, and murder.
