Justin Mikale Thorne, a former Atlanta Police Officer, was recently sentenced to a decade behind bars due to his involvement in the armed robbery of a rapper, Bankroll Freddie (aka Freddie Gladney III), on October 17, 2019. According to reports, Throne participated in the criminal act as a "lookout man" while dressed in full uniform as his co-conspirators robbed the QC rapper at a motel in Cobb County. An indictment and an admission of guilt followed shortly after that.
Before the sentencing, Thorne stepped down from his position with the Atlanta PD due to allegations that he had dismissed several warrants for various individuals in the streets.
