Lil Durk recently sat down with DJ Akademiks for an episode of the "Off the Record" podcast, and Akademiks asked Durk about his issues with NBA YoungBoy. This comes after NBA YoungBoy accused Durk of using his name for clout to promote his upcoming album, Almost Healed (May 26).
Durk explained to Akademiks that he doesn't understand why YoungBoy is "taking responsibility" for King Von's death. Lil Durk added, "Scared of who? For what? What he do?! I’m speaking for the whole of Chicago: you ain’t there? Shut the f*** up. You made a diss and said something about Von, that’s why I don’t f*** with you. You ain’t did sh*t! You did zero, in reality."
Durk then went on to say, "It ain't have nothing to do with Asian [Doll], none of that sh*t. Von put the Floyd Mayweather on the muthaf***a, and what happened happened. That’s a different situation. His situation, what did he do? What did YoungBoy do for everybody to want me and him to kill each other? … What did he do to Von? Okay, cool. So why are you taking full responsibility like you did something to Von? [For] sales?"
During the sit-down, Lil Durk also addressed Quando Rondo, stating, "That sh*t f***ed everybody up. When a real gangsta get took out by like a … a nerd type muthaf***a … Quando’s a little boy." Durk then c claimed that he used to son Quando Rondo, and had him "saying, 'F*** 63rd,' me and Von. Google it. No, I ain't have him in a headlock. But I'm saying, like, he was saying, 'F*** 63rd.'"
