Vic Mensa recently sat down with Sway’s Universe, where he spit a freestyle that addressed him dissing Drake in 2017's "Danger." He also addressed dissing Lil Yachty, XXXTentacion, and DJ Akademiks.
Around the 51-minute mark in the above video, Vic states, "I fell victim to addictions and my mental state/Stupid sh*t, like dissing Drake/That was a big mistake/But when you raised in a cage, all you know is MMA/I dissed Yachty, dissed Ak, dissed XXX/It was disrespect/It made the fans disinvest."
Later, Vic spoke to Sway about speaking to Drake at Virgil Abloh's funeral, and he explained that Drake was receptive to making amends. Vic added that he had a similar conversation with Lil Yachty, and he admitted that he hasn't spoken to DJ Akademiks.
However, Vic explained, "Akademiks is one person I haven't spoken to, but I'm in the space where I don't got room in my spirit for no beef, no problems with nobody."
