Earlier this year, Chicago rapper Lil Jay claimed that he was set to be released from jail in 90 days. The rapper was arrested and arraigned on weapons charges after being released from prison, as previously served 12 years.
Now, footage has surfaced showing Lil Jay in a car riding around after allegedly being released from jail.
The rapper was originally supposed to serve 15 years in prison after reportedly turning down an 8-year plea deal for second-degree murder charges. Take a look above.

Chicago rapper Lil Jay is currently in jail after being arrested and arraigned on weapons charges earlier this year following his release from prison.
He took to Instagram this week to update his followers that he will be home very soon. "The wait is almost over, 90 days till home," the caption read.
Lil Jay's most recent arrest came almost immediately after his release from prison in April after serving 12 years. His inmate profile originally showed that the Chicago native was expected to be paroled on May 26, 2023 with an official discharge date projected for May 29, 2023.
