Shortly after Crip Mac was released from prison, he began to trend online when a celebratory video of him reuniting with his ex-fiancée and current manager, Lupe 46, surfaced. Since then, the fun-loving duo has been hard at work, landing several high-profile interviews for Crip Mac on multiple hip-hop platforms. But when tragedy struck, Lupe 46 made headlines for an unfortunate reason.

In a recent interview with Crip Mac's friend, China Mac, Lupe 46 explained that her family's home in Compton, California was burned to the ground due to an electrical error.

"What happened was they were switching a light where my parents live," Lupe 46 recalled while on a call with China Mac and his manager ODM Slim. "I think when they turned off the light, I think they had turned it back on, and I think when they turned it back on, something electrical started [the fire]. You know what I'm saying? So, when my sister came out the restroom she [saw] smoke. She smelled it, but she didn't see the smoke yet. Then when she came out the shower she [saw] the smoke, and she told my dad, we need to get out, the house is out fire...if it wasn't for my little sister, I think my dad and my nephew wouldn't even be here."

Upon hearing the news, Crip Mac started a GoFundMe for Lupe 46 in hopes of raising $10,000 for her family. China Mac was one of the first contributors to the campaign. (You can view the GoFundMe campaign here)
