A New York City attorney, who has been identified as Anthony P Orlich, was fired from his position as an associate at Leader, Berkon, Colao & Silverstein LLP after a viral video showed him snatching a wig off of a woman's head.
The woman, who goes by Tizzy Ash on TikTok, shared a video of the incident on the social media platform, and she accused Orlich of snatching the wig off of her head and continuing to walk away. Ash can be heard confronting Orlich and asking him, "Sir! For what reason did you take my wig off? Because what made you think that that was a good thing to do? Why did you do that? Is that funny? You don’t even f**king know me? Do you hate women or something?"
Following the incident, social media users identified Orlich and the law firm he worked at, and a day later, the firm announced that Orlich was no longer employed there. The law firm released a statement that read, "We have been made aware of a video of a non-work related incident involving one of our associates circulating on social media. We take seriously any inappropriate behavior by any employee, whether inside or outside the workplace. This associate is no longer working with the firm."
