From candid revelations about using a plant-based psychedelic called Ayahuasca to his highly publicized "darkness retreat" and inevitable trade request to the New York Jets--it's been an interesting year in the life of Aaron Rodgers. The Jets acquired the four-time MVP from the Green Bay Packers on April 24 for multiple draft picks. Since then, the highest-rated quarterback in the history of the Green Bay Packers has been making his rounds throughout the metropolitan areas of New York and New Jersey, appearing at a New York Knicks NBA playoff game and a New York Rangers vs. New Jersey Devils NHL playoff matchup.

His jovial tour of NYC may soon include a stop at Citi Field in Queens, where the Mets play their home baseball games. But over the weekend, he didn't have to travel far because Taylor Swift, one of the biggest pop stars in music, held a three-night concert experience at MetLife Stadium, the home field of Rodgers' Jets.  With guest appearances from recording artists such as Ice Spice, the "Eras Tour" in New Jersey was undoubtedly the biggest event in music over the weekend. When concertgoers spotted Aaron Rodgers getting down to "Shake it Off," he was filmed and the footage began to trend online shortly after that. The clip didn't sit well with some Jets fans, which prompted the team's defensive end, John Franklin-Myers, to come to Rodgers' defense on Twitter.

"Y’all weird, why can’t he dance in peace [laughing emoji]," Franklin-Meyers tweeted.
