Recently, Boosie made an appearance on ‘The Breakfast Club’ to promote his upcoming album. While on the platform, the artist was asked about him expressing thoughts on not wanting to be wrapped up in street issues at a certain age.
Charlamagne Tha God pointed out a video he saw of Boosie leaving a McDonald’s parking lot, saying, “It gotta suck to be a street n**** .”
Boosie said, “Now that you get older, you be like, ‘How the f**k you 40 years old still gotta look over your shoulder from your past?’” He said all of that paranoia isn’t worth it.
From there, the rapper then said, “Like that s**t wasn’t worth it. The respect you got for anything you did ain’t worth you being an older man looking over yo motherf**king shoulders.” Boosie concluded by saying, “This s**t ain’t worth it.
