Moneybagg Yo has been doing press recently and sat down with Speedy Mormon of Complex to talk about a variety of topics.
One of the topics landed on finances and what has changed for the rapper since his elevated success. The once-viral topic of Moneybagg’s net worth came up, and when asked if he believes what is shown on Google, the rapper immediately said “no.”
The Memphis star said, “What the net worth go off of, whatever you got logged in? I forgot. Somebody told me whatever it is. The taxable dollars or whatever that may be. I don’t want to say too much about that with cameras around.”
From there, he continued saying, “I made way more than that last year. For one performance, I got $200,000 before. This when I first went up and was like, ‘$200,000 a show, it’s what it is,’ Ya’ll set the standard.”
The rapper concluded by saying, “I’m still a hustler, I’m a street n***a at the end of the day so I understand business, too. So it’s like, everybody ain’t got the $200,000. I ain’t going no less than $150,000. We’re going to make it happen.” Watch above.
