Last year, it was reported that skateboarder and ‘Jackass’ star Bam Margera went missing from his court-mandated rehab. Since then, Margera has made the news for numerous incidents, including threatening to kill his family. Now, Margera has been deemed a threat to himself and other people, causing police to put him on a 5150 psychiatric hold.
Law enforcement sources that spoke with TMZ claim the LAPD found Margera on Sunday (June 4) at Trejo’s Tacos after tracking him on his phone. While in front of the spot owned by actor Danny Trejo, police spoke with Margera and said he delivered behavior and speech that was “erratic.”
Because of the behavior, police decided to place the skater on a 5150 hold after calling in a psychiatric evaluation team. From there, Margera was taken to a mental health facility. It was unknown if he was being held up to 72 hours in the facility, the legal amount of time he can be detained. Previously, an APB was put out for Margera, who went missing after making suicidal threats. Stay tuned for more updates.
