Previously, Lil Durk revealed he had a feature from J. Cole on his single “All My Life,” which he says the North Carolina emcee “smoked” him on. “He smoked my ass on that one, for one — barely. That barely happens. But shout out to J. Cole, shout out to [Dr.] Luke, we made it happen.,” said the rapper. Since then, news surfaced surrounding rumors of a fee charged by Cole for the feature on Durk’s song, which Cole’s manager has now responded to.
The headline from Raphouse TV said Lil Durk reportedly paid J. Cole $978,000 for his “All My Life” verse, with the headline breaking down how much each word cost Durk. However, Cole’s manager Ibrahim “Ib” Hamad, reacted to the news.
Ib replied, “cap,” using the hat emoji, and Durk’s DJ followed up by adding his thoughts. Via Twitter, Durk’s DJ said, “False news we ain’t never paid for a feature… Ever!” Take a look above.
