Since the beginning of the year, four players from the Cleveland Browns have had their automobiles stolen while in the area. Deshaun Watson's vehicle was stolen in January, while Demetric Felton, Perrion Winfrey, and Craig Newsome II have all fallen victim to similar criminal acts recently. But unfortunately for Newsome II, his experience involved getting robbed at gunpoint. The incident occurred around 3:30 am, shortly after the defensive back parked his 2022 Dodge Ram TRX near the Filter Bar and Lounge. According to reports, six masked perpetrators ambushed him in the parking lot and robbed him of his jewelry at gunpoint. After that, they hopped in his Dodge Ram and fled the scene.

For members of the Cleveland Browns, high-profile robberies are becoming a recurring theme in their home region. The team's head coach, Kevin Stefanski, recently weighed in on the concerning chain of events regarding the safety of his players.

“First, as you know, it's an active investigation ongoing, so I can't comment much other than to say I'm glad our guys are OK,"  said Coach Stefanski. "I want our guys, I want all of our community to be safe. The Cleveland Police have been outstanding. Chief Drummond and I spoke yesterday. We want everybody to be safe, and we want to get violent people off of our streets.”
