Former New York Giants wide receiver Travis Rudolph was found not guilty on all counts in a murder trial that lasted two weeks.
Rudolph was accused of shooting two individuals, resulting in the death of one, outside his family's Lake Park residence in April 2021. Rudolph insisted he killed 21-year-old Sebastien Jean-Jacques to save his and his brother's lives after Jean-Jacques and three other men arrived to his family's home after an argument he had with his girlfriend hours earlier.
On Wednesday (June 7), jurors deliberated for less than four hours, and they came back with a unanimous not-guilty verdict. It was revealed that jurors had the option to convict Rudolph on lesser charges of second-degree murder and manslaughter. However, he was acquitted on all charges.
