According to TMZ, Jay-Z received a $7+ million payout from the Parlux lawsuit which has dragged on for roughly 7 years.
Reports show that Hov and his team received $7,259,061.31 from Paralux Fragrances for the amount owed after losing the lawsuit which was originally filed in January 2016. The fragrance company claimed the mogul hadn't lived up to promotional obligations for the cologne Gold Jay-Z.
However, a jury ruled in Hov's favor about a year ago but the company filed an appeal which it ultimately lost last week. Resulting in the company being responsible to fork over the court-ordered amount of $6.8 million plus interest.
