A street fight in the Chelsea section of Manhattan, New York City turned fatal after a 36-year-old man was stabbed in the broad-daylight brawl.
The fight broke out on a busy street around 8:15AM as the two men launched haymakers at one another. Video shows a woman walk in between the two combatants seemingly urging them to cease their brawl as the knife becomes more visible in the hand of the larger man.
In spite of her failed attempt to play peacemaker, the men continued their fight with the shirtless man sustaining stab wounds which left him bleeding profusely in the middle of the street. NYPD officers who were nearby attempted to save the man's life but died while being rushed to the hospital.
The other man was identified as Nisean Graves, a 34-year-old homeless man who has a history of these types of incidents after stabbing someone in May 2021.
