Update 06/10/2023 11:32am:

Previously, it was reported that a Fulton County deputy named Akeiba Stanley was arrested after allegedly smuggling contraband in and out of jail to a defendant in the YSL RICO case. Since then, Stanley was charged with conspiracy to commit a felony, violation of oath of office, reckless conduct, and more. Now, a warrant that surfaced says Stanley and the defendant—Christian Eppinger, were involved with one another.

Ahead of Stanley’s arrest, the warrant claims that Eppinger used his lawyer’s laptop to illegally communicate with numerous individuals. An internal investigator who delivered testimony also says he saw Eppinger write a message and then look at Stanley with a smile. According to the warrant, the former deputy then wrote a message back to Eppinger on her Apple watch before smiling.

Stanley was also accused of failing to help stop Eppinger after an altercation with another deputy in the defendant. The warrant claims that Stanley started to rub on Eppinger’s back following the incident, telling him, “Look at me, baby.” As of now, Stanley has a hearing on June 21. The former deputy’s bond is $1 million. Stay tuned for more updates.
