While Cossie was likely hit with a lot of DMs after her photo went viral, one of the messages stuck out. She took to her Instagram Stories to reveal that Shaq had hit her up, and the legendary sports figure told her, "Don't let them [people] bother u."
Cossie thanked Shaq, who told her to stay away from social media comments, and he also jokingly told her to "tell all your boyfriends I said hello lol."
DJ Akademiks posted Shaq's DMs, and he asked his followers if they thought Shaq was hitting on Cossie. This led to Shaq jumping in Akademiks' comments section to write, "Just uplifting people that’s what the diesel do baby i uplift people google me."
