An Orlando police officer is under fire after bodycam footage was released from a Seminole County deputy sheriff showing the officer flee a traffic stop.

Officer Alexander Shaouni was stopped on Tuesday for driving about 80 mph in a 45 mph zone without his siren or emergency lights on. When Shaouni was pulled over he was visibly and vocally upset about being stopped and told the deputy that he was driving into work.

When asked to provide his driver's license, Shaouni refused before jumping back into his squad car and driving off. As a result, Shaouni has since been charged with fleeing a law enforcement officer, reckless driving, speeding and resisting arrest. What's more, an unsigned Orlando Police Department statement revealed that Shaouni has since been "relieved of duty" following the incident and ahead of the internal investigation to ensue.
