Eminem's daughter Alaina Scott married her longtime boyfriend Matt Moeller over the weekend, and the photos went viral after Alaina posted them on her Instagram page.
Many people were searching for a glimpse of Eminem in the photos, and when he wasn't found, there was speculation that he didn't attend the wedding. However, Alaina addressed the situation in a statement to PEOPLE.
She stated, "I had an 80-ft long black and white checkered aisle, and my dad walked me down the aisle. He wasn't going to miss that." Alaina added, "Getting married is a sacred thing, and we wanted to be surrounded by people who share in our daily lives. We did something super untraditional and didn't allow many plus ones. This was important to us."
Alaina closed by telling PEOPLE, "These are once-in-a-lifetime moments and I'm just so grateful to be loved the way I am by everyone. None of this would have been possible without my Dad. I'm beyond blessed."
