Drake has dropped much material over the course of his career, as well as put on for other artists along the way, adding to the lure of his success. Along with that, the rapper also put on for new producers and has paid them generously.
During an interview on ’Shirley’s Temple,’ producer Lil CC spoke about working with Drake on the song “Money In The Grave” and revealed how much the rapper paid her for the track.
CC spoke about how she learned to make beats and produce and was asked what she sold her first beat for. CC noted her first beat was “Money in The Grave” and revealed she sold the track for a massive $20,000.
From there, the producer said she was grateful for the opportunity to work with the Canadian rap star and that Drake's support drove her to work harder in the music industry. Watch above at the 12:00 mark.
