Previously, it was revealed that Tory Lanez’s sentencing for his conviction in the Megan Thee Stallion shooting was set to take place in August 2023. Since then, the rapper’s unreleased song “Hurts Me” hit social media, seemingly going viral on TikTok. 

While many wondered why the song was going viral, Kylie Jenner posted it on TikTok, causing a rise for the track. However, not everyone was on board with Jenner plugging the unreleased track. Via Twitter, one person reacted by saying, “She’s literally showing everyone that she sides with Tory & don’t give a f**k about Megan, a BLACK woman, who Kylie and her entire family imitates their entire lives around black women.”

Another user said, “To be honest, I wouldn’t notice this if I was her because [Lanez] really sounds [like] a random white boy trying to get out a TikTok hit.” The backlash continued, with another user on Twitter saying, “I really wonder like when you’re THAT rich are you really just that disconnected from reality that you just lack basic common sense… 😭.” Take a look above.
