In the past week, the WBO and lineal junior welterweight champion Teofimo Lopez (25-1) has had some interesting words for some of professional boxing's brightest stars. During a recent appearance on ESPN's weekly broadcast of Max on Boxing, Teofimo said that Devin Haney (30-0), the undisputed lightweight champion, "sucks" and "he's a fake it till you make it kind of guy." He also called Haney a "puppy" and "handmade" before explaining why he believed that Vasiliy Lomachenko should have been declared the winner of their bout on May 20th.
Footage recently surfaced of the Teofimo dropping a hot take on Gervonta "Tank" Davis (27-0). The 25-year-old was interviewed shortly after attending a press conference for the upcoming "Spence vs. Crawford" super fight. As expected, the champ did not mince his words when asked to assess his peers, such as Shakur Steveson, Devin Haney, and Tank Davis. Without hesitation, Teofimo said that Tank Davis has "d*ck sucking lips" before calling him a "b*tch."
