The 2020s have not been kind to the NBA Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen. Upon the release of ESPN's hit docuseries The Last Dance, he had a fallout with his former friend/teammate Michael Jordan about how his previous actions were portrayed on camera. One year later, his divorce from Larsa Pippen was finalized, paving the way for a nightmarish scenario where his ex-wife began to date Michael Jordan's son, Marcus

Although many sports fans still revere Scottie Pippen as a six-time NBA Champion with the Chicago Bulls, he's also been criticized for his seemingly bitter takes about Michael Jordan being a "horrible" basketball player and claims that their ex-coach, Phil Jackson, was a racist.  As the hits keep coming, the recent announcement that Larsa Pippen has been awarded half his retirement money only adds to his list of woes. According to documents from a courthouse in Los Angeles County, the woman Scottie shares four children with will be rewarded significantly from his 401K and pension. Ultimatley, the court ruled that Larsa is entitled to half of Scottie's fortune and that she must be paid a "cash lump sum" as soon as possible.
