Joseline Hernandez was a guest on The Breakfast Club on Thursday (June 22), and she opened up about her viral fight with Amber Rose on "College Hill."
Joseline started off speaking about being proud of being Black, stating, "I’ve always considered myself a Black woman, but I was born in Puerto Rico and I speak Spanish. My first language is Spanish, but that doesn’t take away that when I walk in a building, people say, ‘That is a Black woman,’ right?" She added, "I’m proud to be Black, whether I’m Spanish or not."
Jess Hilarious then asked Joseline, "Is that what ticked you off with Amber [Rose]?" Jess then added that Amber has “dismissed” her Black heritage in the past, and she questioned whether Joseline saying that Amber wants to be white was a trigger.
Joseline explained, "I thought she always considered herself Black until I got there, and I seen that she was a Karen. I was like, ‘Woah!’ That was crazy to find out that she was a Karen!"
DJ Envy then asked what she meant by “Karen,” and he added did it mean that Amber “didn’t respect Black rights." Joseline said that the term is well-known without explanation, which you can hear in full above.
