Skip Bayless decided to use the news of the Boston Celtics trading away their Defensive Player of the Year in Marcus Smart to the Memphis Grizzlies to take a shot at Dillon Brooks.
According to Skip, the trade was an opportunity for him to distinguish between "true toughness" which he believes is embodied through Smart and "fake toughness" which he said is exhibited by Brooks. Not the mention, virtually everyone in the sports Twitterverse agreed that Smart was an overall upgrade to the team amid Brooks being informed that the team would not be resigning him.
NBA insider Rob Perez seconded Bayless's remarks as he tweeted, "Memphis finally has what Dillon Brooks thought he was."
