According to court documents, Young Thug’s lawyer has filed a motion asking to dismiss RICO charges for all the YSL co-defendants due to the statute of limitations.
Thugger’s lawyer Brian Steel filed a motion on June 23 asking to dismiss RICO charges against all YSL defendants, including Young Thug. The motion says that accusations that occurred over the last five years before the arrest date are beyond the statute of limitations for RICO charges. As a result, Steel asked that the charges be taken out of the indictment.
If the charges are removed from the indictment, the case from the prosecution could break down against the rapper and his co-defendants. Stay tuned for more updates.
