Previously, it was reported that the charges against a Chicago woman named Carlisha Hood and her 14-year-old son were dropped after her son reportedly shot a man who had brutally attacked his mother while at a restaurant. Now, Nicki Minaj has offered some words and help toward the child’s future education.
Via Instagram, Minaj said, “That 14-year-old that backed dat hammer out when that grown ass man was punching his mother in the face as if she were a MAN; is a true hero.”
From there, Minaj said, “If he wants to go to college, I’d love to help. It’s what ANY son should’ve done for their MOTHER,” before praising Hood for how she raised her son. Take a look at Nicki’s complete statement above.
