Last weekend, "The BET Awards" became the most-watched award show of 2023. The annual event is a coveted experience for Hollywood's brightest stars and has become quite lucrative for a wide range of businesses, entrepreneurs, and independent workers. The influx of celebrities and cash flow also benefits the strippers. Unfortunately, such events also provide ambitious criminals with plenty of prospects to choose from.
Footage recently went viral of two strippers being robbed of $10K by a masked gunman after putting in a hard day's work, following the BET Awards. The victims were reportedly targeted and followed home before the assailants snatched up their belongings.
