Lil Yachty debuted the first episode of his new "A Safe Place" podcast, where a discussion about artists that fell off came up. Yachty's co-host MitchGoneMad brought up Sean Paul, who Yachty said never fell off so much as he stopped making music.
Lil Yachty then revealed that he hasn't liked Sean Paul since he dissed him on The Breakfast Club in 2016, and he added, "F*** Sean Paul."
A clip then played of Paul's interview, where he stated that "If it was really about talent in the hip hop industry. you wouldn’t have some of these younger cats talking that." When Lil Yachty's name is brought up, Paul can be heard calling him "boat boy."
