Killer Mike recently revealed he was dropping his new album ‘Michael.’ The rapper also made headlines after claiming that Andre 3000 of Outkast was dropping a new album too. However, Mike has since refuted the claim, saying, “I was stoned out of my mind.” Now, Killer Mike has revealed more information about his new album, saying he dropped a heavy bag on creating it.
While speaking to Ebro for Apple Music, Mike said: “This matters because I spent half a million dollars without asking my wife.”
The rapper continued saying, “At about a quarter million dollars, she was just like, ‘What the f**k are you doing?'” Mike gave more detail into their exchange, saying, “I was like, ‘I’m making the album I’ve always wanted to make.’ And she’s like, ‘We’re a quarter million short. That could have bought a whole nother quarter of a block.'” Watch above.
